Mark drafts, copies and confidential documents

A tiled, semi-transparent watermark naming the recipient is a practical way to discourage an ID scan or a contract from being reused somewhere you did not intend.
Any language, no upload
The text is drawn using the fonts on your device, so scripts such as Chinese, Japanese, Arabic or Cyrillic work as well as Latin text. Because the whole job runs in your browser, the document you are trying to protect is not uploaded to anyone in the process.

Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Everything runs inside your browser, so your files never leave your device. Close the tab and nothing is left behind.
Does it work with non-Latin text?
Yes. The text is drawn with the fonts on your device, so any script your system can display — Chinese, Arabic, Cyrillic, emoji — will work.
Can the watermark be removed?
It is drawn into the page content, so ordinary PDF readers can’t simply delete it. It is a deterrent, though, not an anti-forgery measure.
